Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Machinery hydraulics electrical electronics . Perform routine maintenance on all steel processing equipment. Machine and facility repairs. Diagnoses mechanical and hydraulic issues or breakdowns. Installs services repairs and dismantles equipment using hand and power tools as well as diagnostic equipment. Repairs or replaces worn or broken parts. Resets adjusts and tightens parts which may need service due to hours of runtime. Instals or assisists in the insatllation of new equipment . Adjusts tests and keeps equipment in proper condition for opertaion.

Independently and under the direction of maintenance supervisory staff.

To be successful in this position you must possess the ability to make accurate observations of equipment issues or problems and provide a description of the issue and options to off-site supervisors so they can provide feedback and direction. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong willingness to learn and grow with the company and not be afraid to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty and will actively contribute to the safety culture of the company.

To be considered for this position you must possess all the following.

· 5 or more years of documented experience performing effective routine maintenance and repairs of machinery preferably in the steel processing or related industry.

· Ability to work independently while following written and verbal instructions.

· Strong communications skills in reading, writing and verbal communication.

· Must be bilingual in English and Spanish

· Metal fabrication and welding experience

· 480V motor controls and electrical distribution experience a plus

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
