Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician 2 to join our team. As a Industrial Maintenance Technician 2, you will be responsible for maintaining the Company’s equipment and facilities in good working order at an intermediate level in order to support the organization’s production requirements.
Pay range: $31.90 - $36.16
Hours: Mon-Thurs 6:30am - 3:00pm Fri 5:00am - 1:30pm
Duties and responsibilities:
· Possesses an understanding of basic electrical principles.
· Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
· Possesses proficient troubleshooting skills.
· Utilizes the maintenance ticket system to document work; Documents cost and part specifics information.
· Performs regular preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment.
· Complies with the regulations governing the identification, storage and, disposal of hazardous waste.
· Maintains housekeeping standards while moving through other departments/jobs.
· Effectively troubleshoot problems with equipment.
· Regularly corresponds with OEMs and parts suppliers when repairs are necessary.
· Ensures compliance with all safety regulations related to troubleshooting, installing, or otherwise working with 3 phase AC power circuits (277-480V), 110V circuits, and low voltage systems.
· Schedules and performs regular preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment.
· Responsible for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of control components (e.g., photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers).
· Performs machinery repairs normally performed by OEM service personal.
