ATI is in current need of a Junior Industrial Hygienist to aid in investigations, inspections, and sampling for a government client. The successful candidate will be part of a well-established team of safety and health professionals. This individual will need to have a strong background within health and safety.

REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
- Perform Indoor Air Quality investigations.
- Conduct exposure evaluations and assist with design and performance of industrial hygiene field studies.
- Generate and manage accurate field notes on activities performed by workers and maintain daily log of activities related to project work.
- Perform water quality sampling.
- Conduct office safety and industrial area inspections.
- Complete data sheets, chain of custody forms, coordinate shipping, prepare samples for shipment to laboratory, and ensure supply stocks are adequate.
- Deliver clear, concise verbal and written communication about an issue, including recommendations based on findings. Initiate and follow-up on issues to ensure compliance.
- Maintain excel databases and analyze data statistics.
- Operate and maintain industrial Hygiene instruments.
- Assist with equipment and electronics inventories, calibration, coordination, and shipping.
- Conduct technical research and assist with health & safety audits.
- Support with health and safety training.
- Build and maintain relationships with Team Members, Client Representatives, and other Parties that convey trust, confidence, and respect.
- Able to work independently.
Job Qualifications
- S. Citizenship, clean credit, and no criminal history. Having previously held a CAC card and/or security clearance is a plus.
- BS or advanced degree in Industrial Hygiene, Safety and Occupational Health or associated field (e.g. engineering, sciences) from an accredited university.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience with BS degree, or two (2) years with MS degree.
- Able to crawl, climb over obstacles, walk on uneven surfaces such as ramps, rooftops and able to climb ladders without assistance.
- Able to enter confined space or work on high-elevation task locations.
