- Sustain a cross functional CI strategy for the business
- Apply Lean Manufacturing methodology in the implementation of manufacturing excellence initiatives specifically driven by Daily Management System (DMS) processes
- Lead a portfolio of lean projects directed at increasing efficiencies, reducing waste, and improving quality to provide greater value; implements such tools as…5S, Kanban, VSM, Kaizen, RCA, and DMS
- Design and build robust scalable processes for new products
- Lead cross functional DFM studies
- Train, coach, and motivate personnel in the understanding and adoption of new principles and techniques…focusing on measurable safety, quality, cost, and service improvements
- Drive the standardization of processes and the implementation of metrics and best practices
- Support and deliver annual operational targets and help drive improvements to achieve those targets
- Maintain high quality standards through on-the-floor interactions with employees to ensure quality and accuracy in each step of production process.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent education; Master's Degree a plus
- 3-5 years of experience leading a team
- Demonstrated experience in Lean Techniques
- ERP System knowledge at intermediate level
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably Food & Beverage
- Ability to use project management tools, MS Word, Excel, Project, Visio, Mini-tab in order to efficiently manage the workflow and transactions generated.
- Ability analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, and work flow
- Experienced and knowledgeable in Daily Management System (DMS), Lean Six Sigma (LSS), 5S, KPI, SMED, VSM, and Kaizen
Preferred:
- Lean Six Sigma green belt or equivalent
- Prior manufacturing or continuous improvement experiences
