The Regional Industrial Engineerwill play a critical role in our continued Supply Chain growth. With a network spanning multiple Distribution and Home Delivery Centers, we are in an exciting time of transformation. This role will continue to expand our capabilities along with additional transparency, insight, and accountability of our carriers.
- This is an on-site role out of our Wilmer, TX Distribution Center
A day in the life as a Regional Industrial Engineer:
- Support the execution of labor-management in collaboration and support of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and process development.
- Create and monitor reports for the distribution network, including understanding and educating the productivity reporting process within each building.
- Initiate continuous improvement/lean concept, identify gaps for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change.
- Study operations sequence, material flow, functional statements, organization charts, and project information to determine associate functions and responsibilities.
- Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine processes, staff requirements, and production standards.
- Define and document complex business requirements and processes.
What you’ll bring to the table
- A minimum of 3 years previous experience in the Engineering field
- Background in Lean and 6Sigma methodologies; Green Belt or Black Belt preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Industrial or Process Engineering preferred
- Experience with compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data preferred

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
