As a Field Engineer, your responsibilities will revolve around providing technical assistance and support to customers regarding the installation, operation, and maintenance of complex engineering systems. You may be tasked with conducting on-site evaluations or troubleshooting issues remotely, developing solutions or recommendations to minimize downtime, and collaborating with both the customer and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Working in the field, you will likely be expected to work independently at times, and therefore, must have exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. Additionally, it’s essential to possess a solid understanding of your company’s products, services, and policies to ensure all customers’ needs are met successfully.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct support operation upon R&D requested
- > - Manage customer satisfaction within deployment period
- > - Diagnosing and trouble-shooting equipment
- > - SOP writing for factory setup
- > - Assembly and disassembly of machinery
- > - Keep track on the failure and monitoring the frequency for future improvement.
- > - Inspect and adjust mechanical components.
- > - Control box circuit debug when any
- > - Committed to solving problems and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- -BS/MS in ME/EE or relate field experience
- > - Lifting ability around 44lbs.
- > - Ability to calculate loading capacity of the structure or interpret circuit diagram.
- > - Ability to use tools such as wrench, screw driver, electrical drill..etc
- > - Ability of speaking mandarin is a plus
- > - Background of facility planning is a plus
- > - Able to travel and work at customer sites throughout the region
- > - Able to use 2D/3D software, understand the structure or circuit board schematic or diagram.
