The AstraZeneca Newark Supply Site in Newark, DE, was established in 1971 and currently employs approximately 260 people. Over the course of these years, Newark has undergone many product portfolio changes since it first began as Stuart Pharmaceuticals through today as the designated AZ North America Packaging Center of Excellence and a Flexible Formulation site for global supply of complex products. TheIncoming Material Quality (IMQ) Technician is a key supporting role within the Incoming Material Quality group. The Technician carries out job responsibilities designed to maintain the GMP compliance in the Incoming Materials area and provide an efficient working environment in support of sampling and testing routine material receipt activities as described in greater detail below.
What you'll do:
Samples and inspects Incoming Materials.
Performs component testing.
Performs receiving warehouse duties, as appropriate.
Performs housekeeping in IMQ work areas.
Performs basic equipment verification.
Document archiving and record retention.
Performs C of C / C of A review of Incoming Materials.
Performs data review of inspection testing.
Performs release of packaging components.
Performs inventory management, such as for stability and retain samples.
Performs equipment checks, including some metrology tasks for which they are trained.
Essential
High School Diploma
2 Years of Incoming Material Inspection Experiences
Experience and proven competency in technical and interpersonal skills required for the listed responsibilities.
Desirable:
Associate degree in science, or a business-related subject
1 years QC/QA experience
2 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday 12pm to 2330 (4 x 10 hr)
