Join Our Plasma Team as a Quality Technician!
  • Position:Quality Technician
  • Pay: $18-$20 per hour based on experience

  • Schedule: Center operating hours are TUES-SAT 7am-5pm. Candidate must be flexible to work an 8hr shift/40 hrs per week TUE-SAT. (will have SUN and MON off)
  • Education: High school diploma required; Associates degree preferred
  • Reports to: Quality Manager
  • Ideal candidate: Has a quality mindset, analytical, results-driven, and process follow through. Also 6 months experience in a similar role, including record review, training, analysis, or equipment inspection.

General Summary of Job Duties: As a Quality Technician, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our center's quality program. Your responsibilities will include donor record review, equipment quality control, plasma shipment verification, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Conduct thorough donor record file reviews, including medical reports and equipment incidents.
  • Perform equipment quality control reviews to maintain standards.
  • Verify and release donor testing samples and plasma shipments.
  • Inspect and release incoming supplies.
  • Initiate and review deviation reports as necessary.
  • Review documentation of unsuitable test results and associated unit disposition.
  • Monitor and report on donor adverse events.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and internal company procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding quality issues.
  • Ensure confidentiality of personnel, donor, and center information.
  • Maintain professionalism in interactions with donors, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Demonstrate receptiveness to performance feedback.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; Associates degree preferred.
  • Six months experience in a similar role preferred, including record review, training, analysis, or equipment inspection.

Requirements:
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information.

Physical Requirements:
  • Manual dexterity for handling objects, tools, or controls.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to fifty pounds.
  • Frequent leaning, bending, stooping, and reaching.

Work Environment:
  • Typical work environment with moderate noise level.
  • May be exposed to freezing temperatures and bloodborne pathogens.

Benefits: If you are a full-time employee of ImmunoTek Bio Centers who is regularly scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week, you are eligible for benefits. The elections you make are effective first of the month on or following 30 days of service. This is an ACTIVE enrollment! Any elections you make will remain in place until the following enrollment period unless you experience a qualifying life event.
