Job Title: Quality Control Technician

This individual must be a self-motivated, detail oriented and energetic technician with a scientific background that will work closely with the production, application, and office teams. This full-time non-exempt position in the Quality Control department is based at our headquarter office located in Newark, Delaware. 

 

Requirements:

· Associate or bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Biochemistry, or a similar science discipline.

·  Familiar with HPLC instrumentation and different LC separation techniques.

·  Experience in laboratory work or previous experience in Quality Control.

·  Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

· Ability to communicate experiment results through proper and detailed record keeping.

·  Proficient computer skills to utilize Microsoft software and an ERP system for day-to-day quality operations.

·  Good interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

·  Attention to detail and confidentiality.

 

Responsibilities:

·  Perform Quality Control testing of HPLC columns.

·  Assure timely completion of testing documentation.

·  Generate Quality Control test results by following Standard Operating Procedures.

·  Ensure test methods are validated or verified as appropriate to the method.

·  Maintain proper and detailed records.

·  Perform order fulfillment as per the customer’s/supplier’s requirements.

·  Assure timely completion of testing documentation.

·  Preparation of samples, solutions and/or resins.

·  Utilize and maintain the ERP system to optimize daily production functions.

·  Performance of general housekeeping maintenance in the lab and cleanliness and tidiness in work areas.

·  Observe safety precautions as outlined in safety manuals and training.
