In House Photographer/Videographer For Lifestyle Brand

Our bags and accessories company located in the heart of SoHo in Manhattan has an immediate opening for a motivated and creative photographer.

Photographer will be involved in shooting and editing lifestyle photos and short videos for use on the company website and social media channels.

This position is for an individual who has a passion for design and photography and videography.

Responsibilities:

• Own video and photos projects from concept to execution: bring briefs and storyboards to life
• Scope of work includes: digital advertising, social media, website graphics & more

Shoot all product photography to online retail standards meetings all deadlines

• 8 default shots plus any details
• On white background
• Product must be properly stuffed with all pockets visible
• Weekly bag sample shooting has to be taken before Tuesday noon.
• Retouch and clean all images to weekly schedule
• Daily report sent on which products are shot and completed as they are loaded onto the server/shared drive

Maintain and organize all photos, videos in server and share drive properly

Shoot all lifestyle photography (and video where applicable) for the following:

• Launch of products
• Seasonal campaigns
• Theme shots
• Social media content
• Wholesale Catalogs
• The request of international distributor (must meet their requested standards for the shoot)
• Coordinate above shoots
• Location scouting
• Model scouting (Friends/Associates) for trade ONLY
• Shoot special events
• May include some weekend, evening, and early morning shoots. Only a few times a year.

To be considered, you must share a link to an online portfolio of your best work. Include any relevant projects in social, digital advertising, consumer brands and/or beauty/fashion.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of video editing/motion graphics experience with an impressive online portfolio of your best work
• Expert-level knowledge of Premiere and After Effects is a must
• Proficiency in the rest of Adobe's Creative Suite, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
• Color-grading experience
• Strong design skills - must be able to conceptualize & execute visual ideas with typography, graphics, color, and layout.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Collaborative working style - you're receptive to feedback and direction
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and adapting to a wide variety of assignments and quickly changing priorities
• Able to work full-time in NYC
