Full-Time In-House Counsel/Operations

Job Description:

We are searching for a talented In-House Counsel to handle all our company’s legal transactions, partnerships and projects. Your principal goal will be to guarantee that all our company’s transactions comply with state laws and regulations, while actively helping our company avoid possible legal risks and violations. Who can focus on providing legal advice to the President on issues that affect businesses such as business transactions per se

Other duties will include consulting and leading all corporate legal processes such as compliance issues, transactions and lawsuits. The successful candidate will have outstanding negotiation and communication skills, with sharp attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Accountable for consulting, handling legal processes, developing company policies and safeguarding against legal risks;

Prepare and providing guidance on various legal matters for trials, represent the company in legal proceedings and ensure compliance with laws and regulations;

Represent the company in legal proceedings;

Design and oversee the company’s policy and position on legal matters;

Protect the company against litigation risks and violations;

Examine the legal issues related to new products and services;

Negotiate deals on behalf of the company;

Guide management on regulatory and compliance issues to ensure compliance with legal regulations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Law

Licensed to practice law from the State Bar Association

A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a corporate lawyer

Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing

Highly analytical with strong attention to detail

Outstanding managerial and negotiation skills

Legal decision making requires a comprehensive knowledge of various legal disciplines, communication & collaboration abilities, problem solving/analytical skills, technical expertise & attention to detail.

Luxury Vehicles / Car Service Industry / Owners & Drivers…

Our firm currently handles all matters concerning Luxury Vehicles and the Car Service Industry , including but not limited to the following:

Formation of Business;

Day to day activities as legal counsel;

Defending claims by drivers and/or passengers;

Claims commenced by any government/state agency, such as Unemployment Insurance; Workers Compensation, Department of Labor, etc..

Our Hotel is in the heart of Queens, New York, within a 10-minute drive of 5th Avenue and Central Park. This hotel is 3.2 mi (5.1 km) from Grand Central Terminal and 3.2 mi (5.1 km) from Broadway, just to name a few city of Manhattan, NY

Secure liquor licenses and business permits;

Navigate local, state, and federal regulations;

Negotiate and/or draft contracts and licenses;

Comply with labor, employment, and tax regulations, etc…

Job outlook is positive with average salary estimated between $90k-$105k per year depending on experience/location
