In-Home Cook (Teach & Mentor)

We are looking for an experienced in-home cook/chef who is passionate about cooking and health to help plan and meal prep for a young teen with autism.

You will help encourage the client to explore and develop his interests in culinary. The role includes putting together a grocery list, creating a menu, meal prepping and cooking together specific to our client's preferences and personal goals!

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals with the client according to recipes or personal preference and previous experience
- Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner
- Adhere to proper food handling and storage procedures
- Develop and shopping list together with the client
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures in home

Requirements:
- Proven experience and passion for cooking, meal planning and teaching
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils, including knives
- Ability to follow/teach recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail, patience and compassion
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Must be timely and an accountable

Schedule:

Every Sunday: 10-11:30am 1.5hours

Rate $100/hr = $150/session
