In-Home Childcare Provider

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to children in various settings. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.

Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote their physical, emotional, and cognitive development
- Create a stimulating and educational environment for children, incorporating playtime, storytelling, arts and crafts, and other activities
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring that dietary needs and preferences are met
- Maintain a clean and organized space for the children, including tidying up toys, sanitizing surfaces, and changing diapers as needed
- Monitor children's behavior and address any issues or concerns promptly and appropriately
- Collaborate with parents or guardians to ensure open communication and provide updates on their child's progress

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a caregiving capacity
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Familiarity with childcare routines, including diaper changing, feeding, naptime, etc.
- Basic first aid skills and knowledge of emergency procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and their families
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children
- Classroom management skills
- Nannying or babysitting experience
- Behavior management techniques

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.59 - $21.22 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
