Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care. Your role will involve supervising and engaging with children, implementing educational activities, and ensuring their well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate children's physical, social, and intellectual development
- Create a structured daily routine that includes playtime, learning activities, meals, and rest periods
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
- Provide guidance and support to children in developing positive behaviors and social skills
- Administer first aid or emergency care as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare, preschool, or nanny setting
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Ability to create a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- First aid certification is preferred but not required
- Special education background or training is a plus
