We are hiring for our summer camp program. This position would then transition to an afternoon childcare position in the Fall.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the childcare facility
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
- Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary
- Collaborate with other Childcare Providers to create a positive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in childcare, nannying, or related field
- ability to work in fast pace environment
- Ability to care for toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to create a structured and engaging classroom environment
- Familiarity with special education needs is a plus

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
