Their primary responsibility is guiding new and existing partners in various implementation projects to integrate our payment products into their point-of-sale systems. They also identify and roll out our new products; whether a new integration or new payment terminal device. The rollout includes testing, troubleshooting, collaborating with developers, beta testing with customers, and providing training to our internal sales and support teams. The product team is a small, West Coast-based remote, tight-knit team that likes to have fun while solving really complex problems. Our team supports 360’s Bay Area and Tulsa-based offices.
Job Description:
As an Implementation Specialist, you will work closely with the Product Manager to provide full project lifecycle support for our integration partners. This is a blended role of Project Management, Business Analyst, Quality Assurance, and System Administration. Daily activities include: meetings with partners, describing product features and specifications, collaborating with internal developers, testing integrations against our certification requirements, communicating issues and solutions back to partners, and preparing training materials. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and people-coordination skills. You must enjoy the challenge of wearing many ”hats” and juggling multiple projects to ensure our partners are supported and have a successful product launch.
Responsibilities / Desired Skills
- Lead, manage, and communicate detailed project plans, monitor progress, and facilitate stakeholder meetings for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Control project deliverables and protect timelines by limiting scope creep through clear documentation of current requirements and future enhancements.
- Work closely with Product Manager and Developers while actively influencing partners to make progress on projects.
- Assist with testing integrations against certification worksheets.
- Communicating statuses and priorities to Product Manager, Business Development Partner, CEO and COO.
- Work across teams to optimize processes, provide escalation management, anticipate bottlenecks, and assess risks.
- Communicate bottlenecks and project risks clearly.
- Adhere to and enforce PMO methodologies with effective use of PM tools (JIRA, google sheets)
- Build training and process documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with a preference for MIS, CS, Finance or Engineering.
- At least 3 yrs of experience managing projects of technical nature where you are interacting with business executives, developers, and technical leads.
- Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, Account Management/Customer Service, Training, Product Management, Project Management experience is desired.
- Ability to comprehend and write technical specifications will be expected.
- Excellent communication, influencing, problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
- Experience in Banking or Payments a plus!
