Reports to: Attorney
Duties and Responsibilities:
Successful candidate will:
- Gain valuable experience while undergoing specialized Immigration Paralegal education training
- Commit to 4-6 months of paralegal internship in office
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Conduct follow-up calls as may be required
- Prepare immigration applications
- Draft Asylum and Waiver Briefs
- Organize folders
- Schedule/calendar case-related matters and track deadlines
- Communicate with clients, experts, and witnesses
- Support litigation related work of assigned cases – in house and in court
- Provide leadership in firm marketing and outreach related activities
- Participate in management meetings as may be required from time to time
- Any other activities mandated by company management
Requirements (Experience/Qualifications):
The ideal candidate will have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be highly motivated with ability to operate well under pressure and under minimal supervision
- Excellent computer skills required including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must be Bilingual (Spanish and English)
- Excellent written and oral skills

Salary:$12 - $16 per hour after successful completion of training
