- Respond to a wide variety of customer service inquiries
- Promptly and accurately summarize information about individual disability and ported life products.
- Explain policy information including policy service options and contractual provisions to policy owners, producers, financial advisors and authorized 3rd parties.
- Process routine and moderate complexity policy changes
- Monitor and follow-up on the status of requested work to ensure timely processing in accordance with internal and regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare customized correspondence as necessary.
- Support divisional projects as assigned, particularly activities related to front-end service delivery.
- Has good organization skills, time management, attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills and be able to perform basic math.
- Building business and product knowledge is important in performing this role successfully.

- High school diploma/GED or higher
- 2 years pervious professional experience working within an office environment
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft; Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
- Intermediate level of proficiency with common PC software’s
- Ability to work from the office, located in Lynchburg, VA or Portland, OR, per business need.
- Previous IDI experience
- Previous insurance experience
