Description

Summary

Administers and maintains assigned mortgage systems, programs and applications. Collaborates effectively with third-party vendors, internal partners, and end users to resolve complex application issues. Coordinates and performs system updates, new implementation configurations, and quality assurance testing. Works with business units to develop and document continual system improvements.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Utilizes system and business unit knowledge to prioritize and provide internal user support. Works with vendors and appropriate parties to resolve complex applications issues.
  2. Researches data, integration, and API issues. Collaborates with vendors and appropriate internal stakeholders to resolve.
  3. Provides after-hours support for necessary system down time, updates, and other changes.
  4. Proactively communicates system issues and solutions to stakeholders, peers, and vendors. Provides outstanding internal service.
  5. Maintains/supports staff system account access. Coordinates updates, releases and configuration changes in supported systems. Follows set internal change management processes.
  6. Contributes to team projects as the system/application subject matter expert (SME) on assigned projects and new system implementations. Fulfills configuration needs as appropriate and assigned. Contributes to the development and creation of periodic reporting, as directed.
  7. Attends applicable webinars, product trainings, and technical trainings (as needed) to maintain supported system expertise.
  8. Develops and maintains productive relationships with supported system vendors and partners.
  9. Partners with business units to plan and facilitate quality assurance testing. Works collaboratively with business units to appropriately complete and document user acceptance testing. Adheres to internal change management best practices.
  10. Contributes towards and conducts periodic software audits. Ensures use of accepted audit standards.
  11. Generates and maintains system administrator and new user training documentation. Creates and maintains system support documentation as appropriate. Utilizes understanding of data usage to appropriately capture relevant details.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

Associates degree in technology or related field, or commensurate combination of work experience and acquired technical knowledge. Minimum three years of work experience in financial institution. Information technology systems experience desirable.

  2. Ability to follow credit unions written policies/procedures and adhere to compliance standards.
  3. Professional and approachable demeanor with a strong customer service orientation.
  4. Ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships with stakeholders, end users and vendors.
  5. Outstanding communication skills; verbal and written.
  6. Ability to analyze data and make data-driven recommendations.
  7. Proven ability to complete assigned work timely and accurately.
  8. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  9. Ability to work efficiently across multiple platforms simultaneously.
  10. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  11. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  12. Willingness/ability to perform work functions outside standard business hours.
  13. Working knowledge of credit union products /services. Understanding of business-unit-specific terminology.
  14. Ability to gain working knowledge of the core banking system and related processes.

This position has no direct supervisory responsibility.
