Our Information and Communication Technology Group (ICT), is seeking an ICT Consultantto join our Los Angeles, CA office.
This role will lead and support the engineering of AV systems for a variety of projects while working closely with Owner representatives, landlord/facility managers, government agency representatives and inspectors, internal project managers and design staff for all kinds of spaces including Critical Facilities, Sports and Entertainment, Healthcare Facilities, Airports and Government facilities throughout the country.

Job Responsibilities
As a Consultant you will provide trade-specific system design: layout (mark-ups as well as self-performed production utilizing CAD/BIM), calculations (utilizing appropriate software), and other related design services including coordination with the designs of other trades (architectural and engineering). Individuals in the position must demonstrate the ability to progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated and involved projects working in conjunction with a technical team.
Additional Responsibilities:

• Represent Firm in all interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members
• Develop specifications, system narratives and system layouts for a variety of projects and project sizes
• Participates in / Ensure / Oversee QA/QC process for your work and the work of others
• Assists senior team members in the on-going determination of project scheduling requirements, manpower requirements, and project budgets
• Perform construction administration and field investigation tasks for assigned projects including subsequent detailed inspection reports
• Coordinate with other disciplines and work in close contact with the entire design team
• Assist the senior team member in processing RFI's, Change Orders, Bulletins, and Addenda
• As appropriate, manages CAD/BIM and other technical staff that is assigned for a particular project or task as directed by the senior team member

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree from an accredited university in Engineering - preferably in voice/data networks, telecommunications, electrical, control, audiovisual or equivalent relevant work experience
• 5 - 10 years of design experience in AV consulting field in a variety of markets including critical facilities (control and command centers, call centers, trading floors, etc.), healthcare, aviation, sports and entertainment, corporate interiors, and educational facilities
• 3 - 5 plus years in Project Management
• Detailed knowledge of IT/Telecommunication LAN/WAN networks design, structured cabling, audiovisual and other low voltage system design
• Knowledge of equipment from various manufacturers to make proper selections
• Ability to create and manipulate drawings in AutoCAD is a requirement; REVIT design experience with renderings preferred
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and organizational skills a must
• Certification such as RCDD, CCNE, CTS, CTS-D highly preferred
