The Outreach Coordinator role involves supporting outreach strategies. Responsibilities include event coordination, outreach, education, and enrollment services statewide. The position requires regular travel, including nights and weekends, with compensation for mileage and travel time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the organization statewide.
- Coordinate with agencies, community organizations, and stakeholders.
- Identify and attend suitable events.
- Participate in virtual and in-person community events.
- Assist beneficiaries in selecting health plans.
- Ensure timely completion of reports and documentation.
- Utilize tools and applications effectively.
- Provide input on process improvements.
- Maintain professionalism and HIPAA compliance.
- Follow guidelines for outreach activities.
- Educate audiences on enrollment options.
Qualifications:
- Willingness to travel statewide.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience.
- Previous outreach or enrollment experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Medicaid Managed Care beneficial.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and flexibly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and computer-based platforms.
- Cultural sensitivity and problem-solving abilities.
- Remote working setup with reliable internet access.
- Personal equipment required for work-related tasks.
