Our client, a reputable Law Firm, is in search of an experienced Paralegal to join their team for a Direct Hire opportunity!
Location: HYBRID onsite 3 days per week in Chicago Office (60602)
Salary: targeting $65k
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with attorneys to serve and respond to discovery requests.
- Organize and manage case files, ensuring all documents are appropriately filed and easily accessible.
- Schedule depositions, medical exams, and other case-related appointments.
- Assist in managing and organizing legal documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Utilize document management systems effectively.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, clients, and expert witnesses in a team-oriented environment.
- Maintain clear and effective communication throughout the legal process.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the attorney team.
- Assist with daily time entry billing requirements.
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant in a law firm setting.
- Preferably, experience in insurance coverage matters.
- Familiarity with court filing systems and daily time entry billing requirements.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Proficient in legal research and document review.
