Job Description - HVAC Controls TechThis position is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of HVAC systems and equipment.
Essential Duties
The grade for this position is B25(3). The salary begins at $54,803 and will be commensurate with years of experience and trades license.

- May serve as a lead to staff to include assigning and monitoring work; and providing direction
- Trains new employee
- Performs preventive maintenance and repairs to all levels of HVAC systems including Building Automation Control Systems and overseeing service contractors.
- Investigates malfunctioning HVAC equipment and systems to determine the cause of the problem, proper repair solutions, and implements solutions including time and cost estimates
- Designs, fabricates, and installs customized HVAC systems
- Researches and provides recommendations on new technologies and equipment
