What you will be doing
We are seeking a unique candidate who has a background in CCTV and Access Control but also enjoys learning how to program and implement other types of networking systems. Our ideal candidate will enjoy implementing and programming Audio Visual, Security systems, (Access Control and surveillance), and different IP-based systems. The role also involves commissioning, troubleshooting, and supporting ASD customers on various workplace technologies that touch the network.
Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on experience in network architecture and configuring various systems.
Ability to independently prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines including scheduling.
Demonstrates proficiency in exercising a good depth and breadth of technical subject knowledge complemented with customer-focused soft skills.
Ability to employ troubleshooting skills that identify the root cause of problems.
Ability to read schematics, interpret manuals, and research products.
Ability to establish documentation and training for end users.
In lieu of a degree, consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of at least one of these types of systems: Security and general networking knowledge. (preferred specific system knowledge: S2, 3X Logix, Axis, Lenel, Salto, Brivo, Milestone, etc.)
CCNA, CompTIA - (These are a plus).
Experience in network design and engineering of technology in the workplace.
License/Certifications
Acceptable MVR and a valid driver's license required
