Department: Human Resources / Marketing
Reports To: Marketing Manager
Supervises: None
Summary: Coordinate and support internal and external marketing activities. Support and perform a variety of duties in the human resources capacity. This role will have shared responsibilities for several functions in the Human Resources/Marketing area.
Major duties & responsibilities:
- Coordinate and distribute internal newsletter.
- Assist with both external and internal communications.
- Support in maintenance of company website.
- Receive, respond to, and process charitable donation requests.
- Research and coordinate purchase of promotional products for both internal and external events.
- Support promotional efforts by developing and posting content via social media.
- Assist with new product introductions, advertising, and campaign tracking.
- Assist with the coordination of community and branch events, attending events as organization representative, staff photographer, and/or volunteer.
- Serve on the Events Committee to help organize employee engagement events.
- Assist in training initiatives within the bank.
- Serve as backup to payroll and associated reporting.
- Assist in the auditing of bi-monthly payroll data.
- Assist in resolving employee questions/issues in a timely fashion.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefit programs.
- Assist with the processing of monthly bills to service providers through accounts payable.
- Assist with the NMLS database to enroll, renew, and terminate lenders as required.
- Assist in the talent acquisition process:
- Including job postings, sourcing candidates, interviewing, and extending employment offers, etc.
- Assist in the preparation of job descriptions for positions within the institution.
- Assist with new hire orientation for new employees.
- Assist with policies and procedures for employee acknowledgement.
- Assist with audit requests and HR compliance requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned and/or necessary.
- Understand and follow bank/department regulations, policies, and procedures, and participate in all compliance-related training.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in business administration, marketing, human resources, or related field.
- Familiarity with financial institutions preferred.
- Strong understanding of social media desired.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to strictly maintain confidential information.
