Human Resources Senior Operations Manager
Reports to VP of HR
$90,000 - $110,000 per year based on experience
HR Senior Operations Manager
The HR Operations Manager is responsible for the comprehensive functions of Human Resources for PDRI as well as for the Company Owned Operations in the US and Canada through planning, leading, directing, developing, and ensuring compliance and implementation of strategies to support the Strategic Business Solutions goals and organizational growth of both PDRI and PDO.

- Provide leadership and expertise in all HR functions, including proficiency in HRIS systems and reporting, employee relations, recruitment, talent management, policy and program development and maintenance, benefits administration and compensation, conflict resolution, training and development, labor law and medical record compliance, team leadership, and relationship building
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in Human Resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy practice, and resources to both HR Team and upper management
- Administers or oversees the human resource programs including compensation, benefits, and leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity and recognition
- Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention. Successful experience interviewing and selecting talent.
- Liaise with brokers, advisors, consultants, and other vendors
- Negotiate rates, evaluate benefit offerings, and make recommendations, lead open enrollment in partnership with HR team members. Ensure reconciliation of benefits.
- Ensures federal, state, and local compliance
- Conduct employee investigations and serve as trusted advisor on employee relation issues
- Complete monthly reporting
- Other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of HR practices
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws pertaining to HR
- Knowledge of HR laws pertaining to record keeping
- High-level ADP experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (O365, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, One Drive, Share Point)
- Reporting experience (Power BI a plus)
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Leadership and management skills
- The ability to work under pressure with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent priority management skills
- Ability to learn and operate our main HR operating systems: Caliper, HRIS, Profile Gorilla, Right Signature
- Ability to work independently and make decisions
- Ability to conceptualize; self-driven
- Ability to manage tasks with competing deadlines for PDRI and PDO offices

Required
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, related field or applicable experience
- Five plus years of proven leadership experience including successful Human Resource Management
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Excellent employee relations experience
- Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
- Sound planning and organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills\
- Strong technology skills
- Experience with HR information systems
- Strong qualities and aptitude for process improvement
- Proven ability to manage and develop staff
- Career emphasis on learning and continuing education preferred
- Experience in the construction or restoration Industry
- SHRM or PHR Certification
- Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organizational development, safety, training, and preventive labor relations
