Leading global metals manufacturing and distribution company is looking for a full-time Human Resources Representative for the USA East Region of the company based out of the service center location in Conshohocken, PA. We are looking for a self-motivated individual, possessing good communication and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage HR needs across several East Coast manufacturing facilities. Representative would report to the HR Manager in CA with a dotted line to the Regional HR in IL. Some regional travel will be required.
Key Functions
- Conduct or assist with new hires - advertisements/interviews/onboarding process
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Human Resources files, records, and documentation
- Coordinate roll out of corporate policy updates and trainings across East Region facilities
- Assist Management and Supervision in periodic employee reviews
- Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard employment policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
- Track PTO and attendance providing reports to Management and Supervision as needed
- Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected, up to date, and filed appropriately
- Assist with planning and execution of special events such as annual benefits enrollment, organization-wide business meetings, employee recognition and social events
- Duties to be split 50/50 between EDRO and the Region
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- Prior HR related experience a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential HR related information and situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel preferred)
- Willingness to travel
