The West Side Federation for Senior and Supportive Housing, Inc. (WSFSSH) is a community-based organization whose mission is to provide safe, affordable housing with supportive services within a residential setting which enhances the independence and dignity of each person. WSFSSH develops, manages, and provides housing for low- income older persons, many of whom live with mental illness and/or have experienced homelessness.
Job Responsibilities
- Full life cycle recruiting for a variety of requisitions up to leadership level.
- Mange sourcing, soliciting feedback from hiring managers, communicating status to candidates, coordinating offers, background checks and onboarding.
- Resume screening and interviewing,
- Manage candidate experience in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with leadership and hiring managers to understand the hiring needs and goals of the department.
- Provide guidance to hiring managers during the assessment and evaluation of candidates as needed.
- Ensure a positive experience with hiring managers and candidate throughout the hiring process.
- Gather interview feedback from candidates and interview team, review feedback with hiring manager and counsel on next steps.
- Provide ongoing and timely updates during the recruitment process.
- Assist in implementing processes to improve recruitment strategy.
- Source candidates using network, colleges, online and internal databases, employee referrals and passive candidates.
- Assist in ongoing trainings and presentations on recruitment efforts.
- Stay relevant with recruiting tools and resources, industry trends and market hiring and salary trends to better understand our competitive landscape.
- Utilize a metric driven approach to track and run pipelines and provide constant reports on pipelines.
- Create and organize external recruiting sources and events to generate a pipeline of candidates for current and future job opportunities.
- Keep HR Team abreast of new hires, job titles, start dates and the satisfactory return of background checks to ensure start dates are accurate.
Requirements
- 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment with nonprofit recruitment.
- Bachelor's degree.
- A strong communicator with interpersonal and networking skills.
- Track record of success collaborating with internal business partners to find, engage talent.
- Proficiency using ATS systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and as a team.
