You will help us drive our mission forward by bringing amazing talent and creative talent attraction and recruitment strategies to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:


Recruitment Delivery

  • Conduct comprehensive applicant reviews and screening to identify top talent for various high-volume roles.
  • Ensuring excellence through inclusion by recommending a diverse slate of applicants to hiring teams.
  • Implement best practices in recruitment and meet key performance indicators.
  • Source candidates for hard-to-fill positions using a variety of platforms and techniques.
  • Ensure interviewers are prepped for success and have the resources they need to conduct equitable and consistent candidate assessments.
  • Prepare and extend offers to candidates and ensure a positive candidate and client experience throughout the recruitment process.

Business Acumen & Insights

  • Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activities to guide effective talent acquisition strategies.
  • Apply talent analytics and data sources to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Measure effectiveness, define objectives, and assess trends in recruitment.

Strategic Partnership

  • Understand MSK's strategic goals and collaborate with hiring managers to identify critical skill gaps.
  • Build relationships and work collaboratively across all parts of the institution to drive success.

Change Agent

  • Embrace change, learn new skills, and contribute ideas to enhance recruitment strategies.
  • Explore new technologies and tools for efficiency and effectiveness.

Internal Mobility

  • Support internal mobility by providing guidance and removing barriers to career development.
  • Prioritize internal talent and facilitate mobility between roles and departments.


Skills and Abilities

  • 4+ years of strategic full cycle recruiting experience in a start-up, agency, and/or large, matrixed organization; proven ability and confidence to navigate any type of recruitment (high volume, niche, corporate, clinical or nonclinical) is key.
  • Campus recruiting experience is a plus with the ability to attend and organize local recruiting events on a regular basis.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicant tracking systems, sourcing tools, and comfort navigating technology changes. Workday experience a strong plus.
  • Proven project management, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships across all levels, collaborate effectively, and manage time efficiently.
  • Data-savvy, curious, creative, and willingness to constantly learn, grow, and adapt to change.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, EEO/AA regulations, and licensing requirements.

Additional information:


Candidate must be local to NYC. This is a hybrid role that requires flexibility to be onsite in NYC at various MSK locations (633 Third Ave, 1275 York Ave, etc.) to meet with hiring managers, candidates, run events, and/or travel to non-MSK hiring events in the tri-state area multiple days per week.


Pay Range: $73,900.00-$114,400.00
