The position of Human Resources Recruiter is a full time position. Working within the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Central Oregon Collective, the Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for recruiting and hiring new employees and promoting the company’s reputation as a great place to work. The Human Resources Recruiter will assist the Director of Human Resources with filing, completing unemployment questionnaires, verifications of employment and other general clerical duties. The Human Resources Recruiter is expected to treat all clients and staff with the highest level of dignity and respect. A Human Resources Recruiter must have strong people skills, computer and clerical skills and have creative problem-solving skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include managing all aspects of recruiting:
· Direct and continuing involvement with recruiting new employees
· Write and post employment ads with various recruiting platforms, databases and sources
· Update company website with job openings
· Direct and continuing involvement with hiring new employees to include applicant screening, scheduling interviews, onboarding, employment verification, background check, drug screening and other necessary due diligence
· Compose, distribute and manage offer letters to new employees
· Create new employee files
· Follow up on necessary employment related documents
· Attend Job Fairs
· Compose letters and paperwork to employees around promotions, transfers and terminations
· Communicate with program managers, in regard to onboarding of a new employee
· Assist with employment/unemployment paperwork
· Monitor and use our current communications tools such as Therap for secure communications and Outlook email non-secure communications.
· Understand and use the HR tools within the Payroll system
· Keep an open and continuous dialog with the Director of Human Resources
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but not limited to)
· Make sure all HR related documents are handled in a timely manner
· Make sure all HR related posters and notifications are properly posted at all company sites
· Perform other tasks and assume additional responsibilities as assigned
· Attend and participate in all required training
· Perform other tasks as assigned by all members of executive management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Proficient Computer Skills
· Typing proficiency of 40+wpm
· Pass Criminal History Background Check, and pre-employment drug screening
· Be 18 years of age or older
· Possess a valid Oregon Driver License or State issued ID
· Must have proof of car insurance and current registration and must be insurable by COC’s auto insurance carrier to drive agency vehicles

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
