Job Description
We are looking for a Human Resource Officer who is responsible for managing various aspects of the Human Resources function within an organization. Their primary role is to support the HR department in implementing and maintaining HR policies, procedures, and programs.
This includes tasks such as recruitment and selection, employee onboarding, performance management, employee relations, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, and HR data management. The HR Officer also plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. They are expected to possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a solid understanding of HR best practices.
HR Officer Responsibilities:
· Recruitment and Selection: Assisting in the recruitment process by posting job advertisements, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating the selection process.
· Employee Onboarding: Facilitating the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions, completing necessary paperwork, and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
· Performance Management: Supporting the performance management process by assisting in goal setting, conducting performance evaluations, and providing guidance on performance improvement plans.
· Employee Relations: Handling employee inquiries, grievances, and disciplinary actions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
· Training and Development: Identifying training needs, coordinating training programs, and assisting in the development of employee skills and competencies.
· Compensation and Benefits Administration: Assisting in the administration of employee compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, bonus calculations, and managing employee benefits enrollment.
· HR Data Management: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, generating HR reports, and ensuring data confidentiality and security.
· Compliance: Ensuring compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies, and staying updated on changes in employment legislation.
· HR Projects: Assisting in the implementation of HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and HR process improvements.
· HR Policy and Procedure Development: Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
