Job Description
- Work with plant operations to ensure HR policy is upheld in accordance with state and federal regulation and standards.
- Partner with senior leadership and line-management to implement initiatives that support companies’ long term objectives.
- Effectively resolve various employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and enforce disciplinary actions.
- Align department with organizational growth and change through staffing, talent development, organization design, performance management and succession planning.
- Utilize reporting tools to acquire and analyze metrics to support data driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with the Legal Dept. to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources in a manufacturing environment.
- Thorough knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to Human Resources.
- “Hands on” approach and the ability to work with employees on the production floor.
- Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Must have strong analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to work with team-members at all levels of an organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
