Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics
- Guide resolution of any issues that arise
- Develop and manage training programs in partnership with department leaders
- Manage recruiting and staffing logistics
- Onboard all new employees to include orientation
- Offboard all exiting employees
- Oversee compensation and benefits administration
- Supervise open enrollment process
- Accurately track and maintain PTO and Banked Hours
- Manage 401K plan. Provide necessary compliance data to third party administrator
- Complete and prepare all regulatory questionnaires, reports and surveys related to HR
- Provide advice and service to management on employee relations and performance management
- Maintain accurate HR records and reports
- Prepare ad-hoc HR management reports
- Implement and administer employee policies
- Maintain/update Employee and Manager Handbooks as needed
- Offer proactive policy development, identify ways to improve policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
- Work in collaboration with third party payroll provider
- Update price sheets
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- SHRM, CIPD, or HRCI certification preferred or in process
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
