Gulfstream Staffing has recently partnered with a multi-site specialty Veterinary organization looking for a knowledgeable HR Manager to plan, coordinate, and direct the administrative functions of the organization. You will oversee the recruiting, interviewing, hiring of new staff and consult with top executives on strategic planning to increase company accuracy and efficiency.
Location: Middletown, CT
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives
- They will maintain and enhance the organization's Human Resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating Human Resources policies, programs, and practices
- Recruit and Onboard new hires Conduct performance management and provide feedback Manage Payroll and benefits for employees
- Serve as known expert in subject matter with a broad knowledge and understanding of HR functional areas
- Communicate information to all levels of the facility, including leadership, staff and other community members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
- 5+ years' experience in Human Resources
- 2+ years' management in Human Resources
- Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
- Project management experience
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
- Attention to detail and good judgement
