Our client is seeking a highly motivated hands-on leader to take their team and organization to the next level! The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for delivering HR business partnership, expertise, and consulting to employees at all levels for the organization. This will include the facilitation and implementation of key HR strategies and client specific initiatives to recruit, retain and develop the employee capabilities and improve performance of business operations. In addition, the HR Manager will help develop and implement process improvements in the HR department's service and support to teams, assist with day-to-day operations and perform various HR duties. The incumbent will showcase their talent management expertise, employee relations skills, and communication & organizational skills to ensure our internal clients are provided leadership, support, and customer service in line with the Business strategies and Company's missions and values.
What You'll Do:
Partner with managers to design/develop workforce planning and recruitment strategy, maintain staffing documents, interview candidates and develop staff
Collaborate with plant and staff managers to provide performance appraisal and development plan input
Attend management and team meetings to understand operations, determining ways to develop staff, reviewing any employee relations issues, and sharing organizational knowledge
Drive Lean manufacturing programs and standard work to support continuous improvement within HR department
Review Employee Engagement Survey results to identify process improvements upon procedures to maintain positive employee relations
Coordinate management training in talent management, terminations, promotions, performance management, sexual harassment, or other areas as needed
Assumes responsibility for the administration of employee retention and recognition programs, policies and procedures, and HR/People activity
Implement effective retention strategies, including recognition, employee surveys and performance management systems
Seek out and present alternatives to enhance engagement and employee communications
Drive step change to improve communications and morale
Conduct focus group sessions to gain feedback on employee engagement
Effectively identify areas of improvement, resolve employee relations issues and ensure action items are addressed and completed
Communicate HR and company policies and programs as needed
Provide superior employee administrative support by responding to employment-related inquiries, coordinating with related departments, other HR teams and client groups, as required, ensuring all inquiries are quickly addressed in a timely manner
Assumes responsibility for managing special projects across the network and assisting with miscellaneous administrative tasks
Create and manage project plans, timelines and resources for HR initiatives, ensuring successful project delivery within agreed upon constraints
Develop and communicate project updates and program materials for varying levels of leadership
Support performance management including goal setting, and bi-annual administration of mid-year and year-end review processes, such as calibration and compensation planning
Assumes responsibility for developing frameworks and metrics to measure and track effectiveness of network wide initiatives, such as employee retention, engagement and development
Report on people data including but not limited to headcount, turnover, engagement metric, tracking and talent acquisition
Analyze and interpret people data to support business decisions
Build and use visualization to communicate insights and recommendations
Leverage HRIS data to assess trends, successes, and gaps

Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or a related field required. Degree must be from an accredited institution.
3-7 years of Human Resources experience in a generalist capacity with a minimum of 3 years experience managing Employee Relations, compensation, benefits administration, training, and recruitment.
Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state employment law and equal employment guidelines and policies including the principles and practices of staffing administration including methods and techniques used in recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, and training.
Knowledge of core capabilities/competencies approach to staffing and meeting a large organization's business needs.
Knowledge of and ability to learn various innovative sourcing and prescreening activities and related assessment tools.
Demonstrated knowledge of the practices and principles of Human Resources including FMLA, ADA, worker's compensation, safety administration, benefits, employee relations, and providing consultative services to various client groups.
Demonstrated advanced skills with the standard features of various personal computer word processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, and other proprietary software).
Demonstrated high level of accuracy in work with a strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to effectively take action to solve problems, exhibiting sound judgment.
Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service to wide range of client groups.
Ability to work effectively with site and corporate HR teams, as well as all levels of employees and management.
Strong communication skills, and the ability to guide processes through to closure.
