We are excited to begin the search for a new Human Resources Manager to help manage our HR team and build out our HR department. As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a crucial role in planning, directing, and coordinating all Human Resources activities across 5THGEN entities. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, you'll work to supervise the HR team, develop policies, and foster a positive work environment.
What you will do:
- Act as liaison between management and employees, addressing questions and resolving work-related problems
- Analyze and recommend modifications to compensation and benefits policies for competitiveness and legal compliance
- Manage and coordinate HR staff, developing policies to meet organizational and legal requirements
- Advise managers on organizational policy matters, such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment
- Support staffing requirements, including recruiting, interviewing, employee disputes, terminations, and disciplinary procedures
- Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster a positive attitude toward organizational culture
- Coordinate personnel, training, and employee relations activities for all entities
- Administer compensation, benefits, and performance management systems
- Provide information to current and prospective employees about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, opportunities, and benefits
- Design employee development programs based on identified training needs
- Conduct exit interviews to understand reasons for employee termination
- Oversee the evaluation, classification, and rating of occupations and job positions
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development
- 5-7 years of management and HR-related experience
- Knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, and organizational planning, recruitment, employee relations, safety, and development
- Exceptional written and spoken communication skills
- Interpersonal relationship-building employee coaching skills
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of Excel and HRIS
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Excellent organizational and management skills
