Job Summary:
As a People and Culture Manager, you will lead HR strategies and serve as the main point of contact for the team members. As a member of the site leadership team, you will partner with cross-functional teams and leaders to broker HR services and actively engage in staffing, organizational development, and talent management. You will build upon and rely on your HR functional expertise and effectiveness to align critical Human Resources principles with business objectives.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding and retention
- Drive organizational effectiveness
- Lead change and foster an environment of continuous improvement
- Talent, Performance Management, and Succession Planning for the site

Key Results:
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Establish site-specific People and Culture KPIs with site leadership and an associated reporting schedule that aligns with company goals
Execute and sustain effective team member onboarding plans whereby all new hires complete timely 30, 60, and 90 onboarding activities.
Effectively engage and drive the absence management program. Execute a sustainable, goal-oriented program in conjunction with site leadership and stakeholders.
Partner with site leadership to affirm and establish a site-specific HR strategy for improving new hire retention and overall turnover management.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related degree required
- 5+ years directly related to human resource experience.
- Must have or obtain PHR/SPHR Certification.
- Must have excellent P.C. skills including, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities along with outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills required.
- Ability to take on additional responsibilities in areas outside of the traditional human resource functions and have flexible hours as needed.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
