Summary:
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing ongoing support to the assigned business unit/production facility in the areas of employee relations, workforce planning, recruitment, retention and regulatory compliance. The Human Resources Manager is a hands-on, operations-savvy, results oriented HR leader passionate about solving business problems and supporting team execution. The HR Manager actively participates in all day-to-day activities of the entrusted business unit/production facility and serves as a back-up to their direct reports. The person in this role acts as a business partner and trusted confidant to management while actively advocating for employees.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides hands-on support in a broad range of HR functions including employee relations, recruitment/retention, employee engagement, performance management, training and development.
- Provides coaching, direction and recommendations to the assigned management and employee groups.
- Ensures consistent application of HR policies and procedures across all supporting organizations.
- Oversees all employment related investigations and participates in hearings.
- Maintains responsibility for organization compliance with federal, state and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.
- Responsible for preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.

- Human Resources Generalist
- Human Resources Specialist
Education, Experience, and Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.
- Minimum of eight years of relevant Human Resources experience in manufacturing environment; ideally a generalist background.
- Strong working knowledge of employment regulations and compliance.
- Proven experience operating successfully within ambiguity; a results-oriented professional who can make sense of chaos to continually deliver desired results.
