Human Resources Manager

Summary:

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing ongoing support to the assigned business unit/production facility in the areas of employee relations, workforce planning, recruitment, retention and regulatory compliance. The Human Resources Manager is a hands-on, operations-savvy, results oriented HR leader passionate about solving business problems and supporting team execution. The HR Manager actively participates in all day-to-day activities of the entrusted business unit/production facility and serves as a back-up to their direct reports. The person in this role acts as a business partner and trusted confidant to management while actively advocating for employees.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides hands-on support in a broad range of HR functions including employee relations, recruitment/retention, employee engagement, performance management, training and development.
• Provides coaching, direction and recommendations to the assigned management and employee groups.
• Ensures consistent application of HR policies and procedures across all supporting organizations.
• Oversees all employment related investigations and participates in hearings.
• Maintains responsibility for organization compliance with federal, state and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.
• Responsible for preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibility:

• Human Resources Generalist
• Human Resources Specialist

Education, Experience, and Knowledge:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.
• Minimum of eight years of relevant Human Resources experience in manufacturing environment; ideally a generalist background.
• Strong working knowledge of employment regulations and compliance.
• Proven experience operating successfully within ambiguity; a results-oriented professional who can make sense of chaos to continually deliver desired results.

• Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
