Position Summary:

PURPOSE:

Our North American Human Resources Team is growing, and we are looking for an energetic, people-focusedHuman Resources Intern.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Intern to join our team and provide invaluable support to our HR department. Your role will involve performing a variety of administrative tasks and project based work, including coordinating job description updates with managers, organizing employee engagement activities and scheduling interviews.

This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand experience in HR operations and gain insight into our company’s approach to compliance, recruiting, internal communications and engagement.

Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be utilized in maintaining accurate employee records and assisting with various HR-related activities.

Additionally, you will have the chance to contribute to the coordination of company events and gain exposure to different facets of HR management.

Primary Responsibilities:

INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS & EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT:

Assist with planning and managing employee engagement events as needed.

Support writing, editing and content publishing for announcements and company articles.

Collaborate with global internal comms teams on key projects and initiatives for BVFM.

HR ADMINISTRATION:

• Assist with the New Hire Orientation process and set-up.
• Assist with E-Verify Compliance and management.
• Assist with prep for ICARE Workshops and other HR manager/employee meetings.
• Support project work in two areas: (e.g., updating of employee job descriptions + policies/employee handbook updates)

RECRUITING:

• Support the talent acquisition lifecycle by scheduling interviews, reviewing resumes, sourcing for top candidates and screening talent.
• Champion the candidate experience and demonstrates quality customer service skills that showcase Michelin Connected Fleet as a Top Place to Work
• Research recruiting practices to find innovative and creative talent acquisition solutions.
