The Human Resources Intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on knowledge about the industry and our company. The Intern will work with the on-site Human Resources Business Partner and other experienced team members to gain valuable job knowledge and skillsets necessary to further career experience and prepare for full time employment. This is a paid internship and will start in February 2024 and continue for 6-12 months. We will work around school schedules for a basic weekly work schedule.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnderstands that Human Resources deals with different people in different situations. Understands what information is confidential and how to navigate processes with that in mind.
•Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.• Accepts designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and may present final project during the internship.• Engages with all team members to accomplish required tasks. This includes scheduling interviews, help with onboarding process, follow up with new team members, interact with all team members in person to accomplish given tasks.
• Provide suggestions for improving customer service and internal processes.
• Learns and becomes proficient on internal software systems.
• Support the safety and quality programs by following all accompanying rules and established processes.
Skills and Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be working towards a post high school education.
• Familiarity with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook.
• Able to work in a high-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Eager to learn and work with various departments in the company.
• Speak conversational English.
