SUMMARY
As an HR Intern, you will provide assistance to our HR department in day-to-day operations. You will assist the Corporate HR team in various tasks including employee engagement, onboarding of new employees, and payroll.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Assist the Corporate HR team with employee engagement activities.
- Responsible for answering employment verification inquires, incoming mail, and daily HR related questions.
- Work closely with payroll to verify employee timecards for corporate office.
- Manages our birthday and anniversary recognition program.
- Maintain our employee engagement HUB with engagement pictures, company news, flyers, and other communication materials.
- Audit, update, and organize HR data to assist the Corporate HR team as we implement a new HR software.
- Assist with other HR related projects as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Some college courses completed in a Human Resources related field.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Possesses the ability to gather and analyze information
- Strong data entry skills
- Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint Skills
- Detail Oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be able to work 20+ hours per week
