About the Role

The Talent Attraction and Employer Branding Intern works collaboratively with the Manager, Talent Attraction and Recruitment Marketing, Americas to achieve the collective goals of the Talent Attraction team. This role supports the execution of branding and attraction activities including leveraging employer branding concepts and messaging to drive strategic talent engagement in partnership with the marketing and communications teams along with supporting recruiting systems and processes.

Your Responsibilities

•    Supports global launch of new applicant tracking system (ATS), including process management, training and implementation
•    Works with internal groups/divisions in building integrated campaigns and further awareness of Magna as an employer of choice
•    Helps ensure consistent “voice” across all Magna-approved recruiting communities – from LinkedIn, Instagram, Handshake, job postings and more
•    Support ongoing “TA Foundations” learning and development series to help upskill internal recruiting audience
•    Provide keen insight and support to evolve our student and campus talent engagement strategy
•    Partners with marketing and communications to develop recruitment marketing materials and other collateral to support local recruitment efforts
 

Who we are looking for

•    Proficient computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
•    Professional communication skills (written and verbal) 
•    Some related experience preferred
•    Great attention to detail
•    Effective and efficient time management skills
 

Your preferred qualifications

•    High School Diploma
•    Currently Attending a College or University in the field of Human Resources, Communications, Marketing or Business
•    Independent, creative and solution-oriented working style
•    Baseline understanding of social media platforms and how to leverage them within a marketing framework
•    Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
•    There may be local/US regional travel required for recruiting or other Talent Attraction events
