JOB SUMMARY: The Human Resources Seasonal Assistant will directly assist the Human Resources team with a wide range of projects related to HR compliance, recruiting, onboarding, employee relations and administrative support. This individual will also be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of various managerial projects and other office duties as assigned. This is a seasonal position that will start Monday, June 3rd and work through the 2024-25 season.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Assist in the recruiting and onboarding processes for part-time employees, seasonal employees and interns.
- Assist in completion of employment verifications and file management.
- Assist with management of Seasonal Assistant program (ie: event planning, onboarding, engagement).
- Assist with internal merchandise ordering, budgeting and inventory.
- Assist the Human Resources team with ideation and execution of LinkedIn content.
- Assist with employee relations initiatives (ie: staff events, birthday program, anniversary program, etc.)
- Respond to all staff and employment inquiries in a timely manner.
- Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Perform organizational and special projects as assigned.
- Work with others in a professional, respectful manner while attempting to achieve a common goal.
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information required.
- Qualified candidates must possess superior organizational skills and be able to function in a fast-paced, multi-task setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams required.
- Must have high level of written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands by establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Currently enrolled in or graduated from an undergraduate program or higher with a concentration in Human Resources, Sports Management or related discipline.
- Prior experience working in Human Resources, Sports Management and/or collegiate or professional sports.
- Experience with Dayforce.
