Job Description


The University of Missouri Football program is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to serve as Assistant Director of Player Personnel. This role will play a crucial part in supporting the recruitment efforts of the football team by assisting in player evaluation, coordinating recruiting logistics, and maintaining communication with prospective student-athletes.

Key Responsibilities:

Player Evaluation: Collaborate with coaching staff to identify and evaluate potential recruits, including reviewing game film, attending high school games, and analyzing player statistics.

Recruiting Coordination: Assist in organizing and executing all aspects of the recruiting process, including scheduling campus visits, coordinating travel arrangements, and managing communication with recruits and their families.

Database Management: Maintain accurate records of prospective student-athletes, updating databases with relevant information and ensuring compliance with NCAA regulations.

Event Planning: Coordinate recruiting events, such as prospect camps, junior days, and official visits, ensuring a positive experience for recruits and their families.

Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with high school coaches, scouting services, and other sources to identify top talent and promote the University of Missouri football program.

Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the Director of Player Personnel as needed, including preparing reports, managing correspondence, and assisting with special projects.


Shift


Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Nights, Weekends, and Travel as required.


Minimum Qualifications


A Bachelor's degree in related/relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary


Preferred Qualifications


Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in collegiate football recruitment.


Anticipated Hiring Range


Salary Range: $51,875 - $65,000

Grade: GGS-9E

University Title: Senior Coordinator Athletic Operations
