Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular meetings with respective department/facility leadership
- Work with leadership and staff to implement effective transitions including the separation and exit interview process
- Consult with management providing human resource guidance when appropriate to ensure that HR policies, procedures, and practices are consistently applied
- Provide performance management guidance to management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention
- Identify training needs for department/facility(ies) and individual leadership coaching
- Provide oversight of talent acquisition and onboarding process. Participate in the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues by conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations and providing advice/recommendation to management.
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement HR programs and initiatives to support business objectives
- Additional Human Resources activities and other duties as needed.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Advanced degree or HR certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations
- Strong consulting and interpersonal skills including, the ability to develop strong, trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results and to take initiative and identify client needs and make recommendations for implementation. Excellent verbal and written communications and human relation skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems, Paylocity preferred
- Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of information
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decision
- Ability to adapt to change
