Job Description
Evans & Dixon is currently seeking to add a Human Resources Generalist to our expanding St. Louis office. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for handling payroll, benefits, STD, FMLA, and ADA administration, as well as assisting the HR Department Team with various HR related tasks, and much more! Successful candidates will have a durable work ethic, superior ability to multitask and meet deadlines, and enjoy working in a fast pace and intellectually stimulating setting.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all duties associated with payroll administration to include payroll reporting, bonuses, tax related items, ACA, W2s, total compensation statements, and year end payroll items
- Perform benefits administration responsibilities to include benefits open enrollment and census information, Medicare notification, benefits reconciliation, and year-end benefits administration tasks
- Manage all aspects of STD, FMLA, and ADA administration
- Handle a variety of HR related tasks to include employee transfers, health savings accounts, HR intranet page, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Prompt and reliable attendance required
Skills and Specifications:
- Two to five years of proven success working in an HR Department managing payroll, benefits, and STD/FMLA/ADA administration
- Strong technical skills and knowledge using Microsoft Suite, as well as various HRIS systems
- Must be well organized with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to be self-sufficient in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be a collaborative and cooperative team player
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, business, or related fields
- Must have extensive knowledge in payroll, benefits, and leave administration
- HRCI or SHRM designations preferred
