Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Partners with leadership to design and implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectives, strengthen work relationships, build morale, increase productivity, and encourage employee engagement.
- Provides guidance, expert interpretation of policy, and training to the organization to mitigate potential risks.
- Supports identification of skill gaps and assist with the executing training and development programs.
- Co-leads ESG committee and support the development and execution of ESG initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with local and national regulations, applicable employment laws, and legal requirements such as FMLA, COBRA, HIPPA, ADA, sexual harassment, discrimination, etc.
- Manages FMLA process and ensure appropriate communication to employees and management.
- Prepares and submit mandated reports for governmental regulatory agencies.
- Completes detailed investigations with appropriate recommendations and aid in executing recommendations.
- Provides support to both employees and management regarding HR policies and procedures
- Assists, as needed with onboarding processes, including new employee orientation.
- Completes exit interviews
- Ensures compliance with labor laws and regulations, including maintaining personnel files
- Administers various HR programs and initiatives, such as performance management and employee engagement surveys
- Collaborates with management to develop and implement training and development programs for employees
- Provides guidance and support to managers on employee relations issues, such as performance improvement plans and disciplinary action
- Assists with recruitment and selection processes, including sourcing candidates and conducting interviews
- Participates in HR projects and initiatives to improve HR processes and practices
- Acts as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns, and provides advice and assistance as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
Years of Experience: 5 + years experience in related Human Resources roles

- Communication: Frequent communication with other employees. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Repetitive Motion: Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
- Average Visual Abilities: Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery.
- Physical Strength: Sedentary work; must be able to remain in a stationary position most of the time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally. (Almost all office jobs.)
