Human Resources Generalist (Contractor)

Responsibilities:

• Create job postings
• schedule interviews
• Initiate background checks
• conduct drug screens
• create job offers
• Perform administrative duties associated with the onboarding process.
• Support new hire orientation
• Lead various independent projects assigned by the Human Resources team.
• Elevated level of honesty, integrity, and able to manage confidential data.
• Experience working in an entry level role in HR/People Team or Recruiting is beneficial.

Qualifications:

• ENTRY LEVEL POSITION - 1 - 2 years’ experience as an HR Coordinator/Specialist preferred.
• Recent college graduate within last 12 months (Human Resources or Business Major)
• Exposure to labor law and employment regulations.
• Understanding of Human Resources functions and best practices.
• Prior administrative or office experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Possess strong verbal communication (verbal and written) and networking skills.
• Strong attention to detail while juggling multiple priorities.
• Self-motivated and have a strong work ethic and sense of confidentiality.
• Have a "customer service" orientation with the ability to escalate issues when appropriate.
• Demonstrates ability to work in a corporate environment with composure, as well as independently.
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite of products including Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, -PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook for email, calendar, contacts, scheduling, and task management required.
