To support and promote the mission and vision of the organization through the accomplishments of Human Resources Departmental and organization-wide goals and objectives.
Provides a variety of recruitment and employee relations functions for all areas of the hospital to include; Manages hospital position control and job posting requisitions. Conducts pre-employment tests, coordinates background investigations, makes job offers. Facilitates the onboarding process for new hires. Coordinates employee recognition, Hospital Week, Employee Satisfaction Survey, monthly birthday celebration. Works with Education to coordinate Hospital Orientation. Assist with Joint Commission Surveys. Serves on hospital committees. Assists with employee hospital benefits. Tracks HR data and compiles monthly reports.
Provides assistance and support to the hospital staff and management.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development or similar field required.
Experience: Minimum three years experience in the field of Human Resources, with one year experience preferred in an HR department in an acute care hospital. Prior experience with HRIS systems required, Taleo and PeopleSoft preferred.
Licenses/Certificates:
PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
