Job Title: HR Generalist (Bilingual Spanish Speaking)
Job Summary: We are seeking a bilingual Spanish speaking HR Generalist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to our employees on various HR related matters including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and policy interpretation. This individual will play a key role in ensuring compliance with labor laws, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting the company's culture.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including creating job descriptions, posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and conducting initial screenings.
- Conduct new hire orientations, ensure all necessary paperwork is completed, and assist in onboarding new employees.
- Provide support to employees on HR related matters, including but not limited to employee relations, benefits administration, and policy interpretation.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, including but not limited to EEOC, FMLA, and FLSA.
- Maintain employee files and ensure confidentiality of all HR related information.
- Coordinate and conduct employee training sessions on various topics, including sexual harassment, diversity and inclusion, and workplace safety.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Partner with management to develop and implement employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive work environment.
- Participate in HR-related projects and initiatives as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on recruitment and employee relations.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
